Kapaa City Guide
Kapaa offers a seemingly incongruent mix of hotels, shopping centers, and small town atmosphere. While not quite as developed as Wailua, and Lihue, Kapaa offers all the comforts of home while providing an old Hawaii feel. Kapaa is also sometimes referred to as the Coconut Coast because of the abundance of both plantation, and naturally growing coconut palms.
The most common activities in and around Kapaa include bicycling, both on and off road, hiking, horseback riding, and not surprisingly, sun bathing on the beautiful and not so crowded beaches.
