Waikiki Backpackers Penthouse is the newest hostel in Waikiki. Brought to you by the same owners as Hilo Backpackers Hostel. This hostel really lives up to its name! Located atop the Hawaiian King Hotel in the center of Waikiki, they have the cleanest most luxurious accommodations of any hostel in Honolulu. There is a rooftop common area where you can sunbathe, a BBQ area, and a swimming pool, somethng that no oher hostel in Waikiki has!

Comments: My first 2 weeks there I found it to be An outstanding experience. All amenities ie body boards , local phone, breakfast of eggs bread coffee or tea, internet ,pool and Aloha Hospitality are free, ideal for budgeted travelers. Free dinner at least once a week. Also access to wash and dry just 1.50 each. The common area is amazing with views you only dream of. Even rainy days are the best there. If your looking to for High standard at a great price look no further than Waikiki Backpackers .
